The Thrill of the Solheim Cup
Few sporting events can match the atmosphere of The Solheim Cup, the women’s version of The Ryder Cup. The 2019 event at Gleneagles was no exception, with Europe and the USA battling down to the wire in a gripping contest. Being there with a small group made the experience even more special.
Atmosphere and Highlights
The energy on the first tee was electric, setting the tone for three days of thrilling golf. The passion of the fans and the skill of the players created a unique atmosphere that was felt throughout the course. As a guest of the LPGA and my friend Dennis Baggett, the tournament’s Executive Director, I was fortunate to witness this incredible event firsthand.
Working alongside Visit Scotland, the organizers delivered a flawless event that exceeded expectations. Congratulations to them for hitting a hole-in-one!

Looking Ahead to 2021
The Solheim Cup continues to be a highlight in the golfing calendar, and the next rematch in August 2021 at Inverness Country Club in Toledo promises to be just as exciting. I’ll definitely be there and encourage everyone to join me for another brilliant experience.
A most memorable experience. Delivered.
